Yay for Sabriel! (great book by Garth Nix. If you haven't read it- read it. Now.)

Just a mechanical pencil sketch I did during a play practice ^_^ I touched it up a bit in photoshop. I plan to do a bit more with it sometime soon. . . hopefully.

I love this, as I said before. You've got a knack for smooth lines. :D Even though I've never read the book before.. I don't like reading..... Ahem. Anyhoo, you've got some solid and sonderful art going! :) Keep up the great work!!

God, the hair and eyes are awesome, great detail! I really love the irises and how the reflection on the hair almost glows. The chin seems a bit crooked though, and the hand and bell seem a little unrealistic, but otherwise its great!
